About the role
Little Chalfont Primary School in the Chiltern district of Buckinghamshire, bordering Hertfordshire near Chorleywood & Rickmansworth is recruiting an admin support role.
Little Chalfont Primary School wishes to appoint an efficient and friendly Admin Assistant. This post starts as soon as possible following the necessary pre-employment checks.
Salary: Band 2 SCP 2 (Full time equivalent £23656) pro-rata 20 hours per week (£12.26 per hour). Working pattern is flexible but ideally 9am-1pm each day.
You must have:
- excellent people skills,
- experience of clerical and administrative work (school office experience desirable),
- high level of computer literacy,
- the ability to use online web-based programs and databases,
- a caring and nurturing approach to understanding the needs of children,
- an awareness of the importance of confidentiality,
- a flexible nature and be able to respond quickly to situations using your own initiative.
- Be competent at booking coaches for school trips
- Assisting with the administration of Breakfast Club
- Assisting with Nursery admissions and associated paperwork.
Recent and up to date experience of working in a busy admin office is preferable. On-going training will be provided on school-based computer programs to enable the school to operate effectively using Arbor MIS to its fullest potential.

This job is for a fixed period in the first instance before becoming permanent subject to a successful probation.
