About the role

We are excited to announce the appointment of three enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible. The positions are for 37 hours per week, term time only, and will be paid at H4 pro rata or H5 pro rata, depending on experience.

Role Descriptions:

  1. English and Maths Support: One of the roles focuses on supporting our English and Maths department. You will play a key role in enhancing students' reading and numeracy skills within our forward-thinking school.

  2. 1:1 Support in Key Stage 3: The second role involves working one-on-one with a designated Key Stage 3 student. You will help the student self-regulate their behaviors and anxiety, access their learning, and build appropriate relationships with peers.

  3. Makaton Communication Support: The third role requires the ability to communicate using Makaton. You will support a student in accessing the curriculum in one of our Nurture classes while also having the flexibility to work as a general teaching assistant when needed.
