1:1 Sen Teaching Assistant

About the role

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible person seeking a part-time position? Nascot Wood Infants is looking to appoint a dynamic SEN 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, to support a Reception child with Special Educational Needs. The position will be under a fixed-term H2 contract (for 20 hours per week) until the child leaves the school.  Ideally, the successful candidates will have some experience working with children with SEND in a school setting. They will be expected to liaise closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals, e.g. speech therapists or advisory teachers, to carry out the programmes of work they provide. Previous experience of working with SEN children with complex language needs would be desirable.
