About the role
We are seeking to appoint a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil for two days per week (11.5 hours, on a Tuesday and Wednesday). This contract is a fixed term contract for as long as the pupil is at our school. Salary within the H2 range (Full-time equivalent range shown).
The successful candidate will have:
- Childcare qualification and/or experience of working within a school settting
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of child development
- Good orginasitional and time management skills
- Flexibility, initiative and common sense
- Patience and good humour
- Reliability and a commitment to work hard in the best interests of children
